By “we”, we mean, The Winter Society. For those of us who live in and love winter, it is not a season we tolerate, resist or put up with, it is the season in which we come to life. It’s the season that adds a dare to our daily lives and one we accept readily and joyfully. It’s about reflecting the best possible versions of ourselves as we occupy the season. The city bike paths cleared for winter cycling, the trek to our favourite brunch spot with our girlfriend as centimetres of the white stuff fall and threaten to shut us in, our weekend family get away at a remote cabin, those ski runs under a bright blue sky and those dog walks we fit in at the end of a long work day.
